On May 11th, 2025, on the first night of their cruise aboard the Oasis of the Seas, Matthew proposed to Lisa Marie in the beautiful Central Park area of the ship. Surrounded by twinkling lights and lush greenery, it was the perfect setting for such a special moment. Both of them were overcome with emotion and happy tears as Matthew got down on one knee. They spent the rest of the evening dreaming about their future together, sharing hopes, plans, and all the excitement of the life they’re building side by side. The rest of the trip was pure magic, easily the best vacation ever, as they lived in their engagement bubble, soaking in every moment of love, joy, and celebration.

Lisa and Matthew's love story began when Lisa was in high school and Matthew was taking courses at the local community college. What started as young love quickly grew into something real and lasting—and the rest is history. After years of laughter, and growth together, they're thrilled to finally say "I do" surrounded by the people they love most. Here's a throwback to where it all began—a picture at prom!

Rico and Luna are the heart of Lisa and Matthew’s little family, filling their lives with joy, comfort, and laughter. These two pups have taught them so much about love, patience, and what it means to care for something wholeheartedly. Thanks to Rico and Luna, Lisa and Matthew are more excited than ever for the future and can’t wait to one day grow their pack with little ones of their own!

Lisa and Matthew’s first vacation together was an unforgettable cruise to the Caribbean in the summer of 2016, sailing out of New York City. It was Matthew’s first cruise ever, and their first big adventure as a couple, filled with sunshine, ocean views, and endless memories. That trip sparked their love for traveling together, and since then, they’ve been on 10 cruises and counting!

For a few years, Lisa and Matthew tackled the challenge of long distance—Lisa was away at college in Florida while Matthew was living in New Jersey. It wasn’t always easy, but they made it work with regular FaceTime dates, constant communication, and a lot of love. They racked up the miles flying back and forth, always making sure they never went too long without seeing each other in person. Matthew has been Lisa’s biggest supporter through every chapter of her academic journey. From high school to her undergraduate and graduate degrees, he was always there, cheering her on, celebrating every achievement, and offering steady encouragement through the tough moments. After standing by her side through it all, he’s earned an honorary master’s degree just for being her rock along the way.
